MEBAA Show 2026 Sees Record Early Surge in MRO and SAF Interest
Dubai, UAE — Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi, Founding and Executive Chairman of the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), has reported a record-breaking start to exhibitor registrations for the MEBAA Show 2026, scheduled for December 8–10 at Dubai World Central (DWC).
Market data released in early March indicates a 25% year-over-year increase in registrations specifically from the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) sectors. This surge reflects the Middle East’s growing role as a global hub for business aviation sustainability and long-term technical support.
Strategic Growth Drivers:
- Sustainability Focus: The 2026 show will feature a dedicated “SAF MENA” zone, highlighting the region’s commitment to carbon-neutral flight operations.
- Workforce Development: A significant portion of the new exhibitor block is dedicated to training and recruitment firms, addressing the urgent regional need for pilots and technicians.
- Advanced Technology: Interest in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and eVTOL infrastructure remains high, with several regional governments expected to announce pilot programs during the event.
“The MEBAA Show is more than a trade fair; it is a catalyst for the partnerships that will drive our sector forward,” said Ali Alnaqbi. “The early commitment from MRO and SAF providers shows that the industry is prioritizing the infrastructure needed for the next decade of flight.”
