Gulfstream Targets $13.6 Billion Year as G700 and G800 Momentum Builds
Savannah, GA — Following a breakout 2025 that saw revenues climb 16.5% to $13.1 billion, Gulfstream Aerospace enters the second quarter of 2026 with a formidable $21.8 billion backlog. The manufacturer is now pivoting from a certification-heavy phase to a high-rate production cycle, with eyes on a record $13.6 billion revenue target for the current year.
The Year of the Flagship
The core of Gulfstream’s financial strategy in 2026 rests on its large-cabin fleet. Having delivered its first customer G800 in late 2025, the company is now ramping up deliveries for both the G800 and its sister ship, the G700.
- Global Expansion: Just last month, the G700 earned certification in India, opening a significant new market for the ultra-long-range jet.
- Delivery Goals: General Dynamics (Gulfstream’s parent) expects to deliver approximately 160 aircraft this year, maintaining the high-volume cadence established in late 2025.
Operational Resilience
Despite ongoing global supply chain challenges, Gulfstream has reported that on-time deliveries have largely returned to pre-pandemic levels. The company’s focus is also shifting toward innovation and flight safety leadership, recently appointing Clay Nolen as Senior Vice President of Innovation, Engineering, and Flight to steer the next generation of aircraft development.
