In a landmark collaboration confirmed in November 2024, Les Roches, ranked second globally for hospitality and leisure management (QS World University Rankings, 2025), has partnered with Jetex, a leader in executive aviation services, to launch the world’s first Postgraduate Diploma in Private Aviation Management. Set to begin in September 2025, this innovative program addresses the growing demand for skilled professionals in the private aviation sector, projected to expand from $38.5 billion in 2023 to $55.2 billion by 2031 (Allied Market Research, 2023).

A Global Academic Journey

The Advanced Diploma in Private Aviation Management is a one-year program combining rigorous academic instruction with practical industry experience. During the first semester, students will study across Les Roches’ international campuses in Marbella, Spain; Crans-Montana, Switzerland; and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The curriculum covers key areas such as global private aviation trends, aviation management systems, luxury client experiences, effective communication, and brand leadership in high-end environments (Les Roches, 2025).

In the second semester, students undertake a guaranteed six-month internship with Jetex in the UAE, a global hub for private aviation. The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai, home to Jetex’s flagship terminal, recorded 17,891 private jet movements in 2024, a 7% increase from the previous year (Jetex, 2024). Graduates can earn the Advanced Diploma or extend their studies for a Master’s of Advanced Studies in Hospitality Management with a specialization from Les Roches.

“Our international campus network allows students to live and learn in three top luxury tourism destinations—Abu Dhabi, Crans-Montana, and Marbella,” said Carlos Díez de la Lastra, CEO of Les Roches. “By aligning our curriculum with industry needs, we prepare graduates to step seamlessly into leadership roles in the dynamic private aviation sector” (Les Roches, 2025).

Industry-Driven Excellence

Jetex, operating 38 fixed-base operators (FBOs) across six continents, brings unparalleled expertise to the partnership (Jetex, 2024). “This program reflects our commitment to nurturing talent that embodies innovation, excellence, and luxury,” said Adel Mardini, Founder and CEO of Jetex. “Together with Les Roches, we are shaping the future of private aviation by equipping students with the skills to exceed industry expectations” (Jetex, 2024).

The private aviation market is on a steep upward trajectory, with estimates suggesting growth from $28.01 billion in 2024 to $30.08 billion in 2025 (Statista, 2024). In Spain, the sector supports over 21,000 jobs and contributes €3.1 billion to GDP (European Business Aviation Association, 2024), while the UAE solidifies its position as a global aviation hub.

Career Opportunities and Scholarships

The program offers merit-based partial scholarships and potential job placements with Jetex for high-performing graduates, based on the company’s hiring needs. Students may secure roles such as guest experience executives, crew support agents, or flight coordinators, gaining a competitive edge in a sector known for its elite clientele (Jetex, 2024). Les Roches’ global alumni network of over 13,000 professionals, with 94% of job-seeking graduates receiving at least one job offer, further enhances career prospects (Les Roches, 2025).

Application and Accreditation

Candidates must hold a university degree, be 30 or under, demonstrate advanced English proficiency, and pass a Jetex interview (Les Roches, 2025). The program is accredited by the Swiss Federal Government and the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), ensuring global recognition (NECHE, 2025).

Shaping the Future of Luxury Aviation

As Jetex drives innovation through eco-conscious partnerships and advanced FBO facilities, graduates will be well-positioned to lead in a sector defined by luxury, innovation, and sustainability. Applications for the September 2025 intake are now open. For details, visit Les Roches’ program page.
